Ecclesiastes 7:1–2
Reflect
Solomon says the living should lay the end to heart. The house of mourning teaches what the house of feasting often hides: life is brief, death is real, and wisdom grows when we live with the end in view.
Jesus saw the end clearly. He endured the cross for the joy set before Him and walked out of the tomb with resurrection life. Because of Him, the end is not only a warning but a teacher. His name is better than every fragrance this world can offer, and His resurrection means the end is never merely the end.
Scripture Promise
Hebrews 12:2 — “For the joy that was set before him endured the cross.”
Sit in Silence
What would change this week if I truly lived with the end in view and let Jesus shape how I spend today?
