We are starting a monthly ministry focus at RLF! One of the ways we want to begin doing this is through establishing mission partners—both right here in our community and around the world. These ministries we will partner with are on the frontlines, bringing hope, healing, and the message of Jesus to people in all kinds of situations.
This month, we’re excited to highlight this local ministry: Piedmont Women’s Center. Katie Cesaro is the contact person who’s been involved with this ministry that supports women with life-affirming care, resources, and truth during some of the most critical moments in their lives.
Our May ministry focus (international missions) will be the Guevara family in Honduras who will be presenting their ministry on Sunday May 4th.
Our June ministry focus (local missions) will be Miracle Hill with more ways presented to partner with them at that time.
Sunday May 4th - Missionaries David & Megan Guevara and their family will be with us in the morning service. They will briefly present their ministry in the service then all will be invited to a luncheon immediately following to get to know them more and hear more details of their ministry. The Guevara family has been joyfully rooted in Honduras since 2005, when they placed their "yes" on the table for missions. Comprised of David, Megan, and their four children—Andrew, Adrianna, Kaeden, and Selah—this close-knit family is driven by a shared desire to fall deeply and intimately in love with Jesus. Currently, they are devoted to serving through Blossom Creek Farm and community development projects, pouring their hearts into fostering growth, connection, and faith within their community and beyond.
